Online Marketing . . .the words seem to have a magic of their own, promising showers of money descending from unseen benefactors onto a person who has little to do to earn the money other than to write an ad and take daily drives to the bank.
But the truth is that magic has little to do with success in the direct response business . . . online marketing, if you will. Magic denotes receiving without giving, and wishing without action, but as with any kind of business . . . or most any worthwhile endeavor in life . . . building a firm foundation is very important if the business is to succeed.
Hopefully, you have taken the important first step by carefully reading The Lazy Man's Way To Riches and now are looking for more information on online marketing as your vehicle to the Riches you have in mind. However, just as money does not rain from the heavens, the success you seek does not come without a plan, vigorous application of that plan, and a full measure of dedication.
Let's take a look at some of the elements of the business:
Copywriting, Ad Design and Placement, Product, Pricing, Packaging, Distribution, and related areas.
These elements will provide a point of departure for the serious minded, and principles on which a successful business can be built.
Where Do We Start?
Well, in this business some want to start with the product, others with packaging, and still others with cute ideas.
Many so called experts disagree on where the business begins, but over the years most successful direct response business people have started with a concept, an idea about a problem which needs to be solved. Then have progressed to finding a product or service to fill that need and creating advertising which will tell those who have the problem, how the product or service will solve it.
In future posts, I’ll address these elements of business, and I hope you check back often. Until then...
Best Riches,
